At Help Mind Body, the importance of finding a therapist that matches you is key. That is why we have created this 9-points therapist match to help our clients find a therapist on our platform that matches them. Before a therapist, we are HUMAN FIRST. According to research, the relationship or the therapeutic alliance between therapist and client determines the outcome of their collaborative work. Another key point is therapist and client need to work together as a team to achieve set-goals. Although, this is challenging at times, you must feel safe, heard, understood, and listened to. Due to inter-generational trauma, It is now known, no human is free from TRAUMA: let us match you to a trauma professional with cultural humility, sensitive to equality and experienced in working with diversity. Now match yourself to a therapist of your choice.

  1. Read the therapist profiles on the Help Mind Body platform.
  2. Does a therapist, profile or a part speaks to, or resonate with you?
  3. Preferably, a therapist that looks like you; same race, culture, and speaks your language.
  4. Does the therapist approach draw on evidence-based research to your presenting issue(s)?
  5. Finally, feel convinced and confident after reading and choosing a particular therapist?
  6. Weigh together your thoughts and gut feeling. Are you happy with your choice
  7. If YES, sign up and book an appointment with that therapist now.
  8. After the first session, you feel you are not a good match!
  9. Go back to the therapists profile page, read through the profiles and match yourself with another therapist.
