My Approach:
My Therapy approach is Cognitive behavioural therapy, CBT, which builds a set of skills that enables a person to be aware of there thoughts, feeling, and behaviours, it Identifys how situations/events, influences our thoughts and emotions. A overview of cognitive Therapy: Three people witnessing a traumatic event at the same time. The first person is angry, because they belive something could of been done sooner to prevent it. The second person, is anxious, because he feels the victim maybe hurt badly, the third person is triggered by a acute stress response and flee. These 3 different emotional reactions to the same event emphasize the main idea in Cognitive behavioural therapy, that our reactions to events are powerfully influenced by the way we view events and there perception to the event rather than the event its self. The way you think effect the way you feel.
